I just got back from conducting a corporate team building event in Parsippany, New Jersey where Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited were starting their new employee and leadership orientation.  Deloitte, for those of you who don’t know is the largest private professional services  organization in the world. According to the organization’s website as of 2010, Deloitte has approximately 170,000 staff at work in more than 150 countries, delivering audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services through its member firms.  Deloitte, having used Build-A-Bike to build team spirit at other company events requested Build-a-Bike to be part of their orientation process to help anchor in an interactive way the importance of communication and collaboration across groups, teams and departments.  The group worked together to successfully complete their task.  As a group they build and donated six bikes.  The gifts of bikes were accepted by the Boys and Girls club of Parsippany.  It was a great team building event full of learning and fun.
